‘De la Milpa a la Mesa: A Mexican food journey’, an exhibition featuring cutting-edge installations and interactive gadgets will be on display at Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom's Māpuna Kabinet Art Gallery from Friday 25 November 2022 until Sunday 29 January 2023.

Celebrate the richness of Mexican cuisine by feasting your senses on the tantalising and immersive exhibition as you learn about Mexican farms, markets, restaurants and home kitchens.

Cafes in Foxton’s Cultural Park will serve Mexican dishes while the exhibition is in town, and De Molen will sell ground corn flour in the windmill – perfect for homemade tortillas!
