Meeting, Conference and Function Spaces

Our Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom facility offers an array of meeting rooms, conference spaces and function facilities. Whether your events or meetings are large or small, we cater to all organisations.

Our centrally-located modern facility and technology include free WiFi, easy access car parking and catering can be arranged on request. There’s a café in the facility, and another one 50 meters away. There’s a spacious foyer and a gallery to choose from, as well as larger and smaller rooms. This is the ideal place for your next function or meeting. Something new and exciting, situated in a Cultural Park and a heritage town that offers plenty of entertainment in non-work time.

Ngārongo Iwikātea Room

The highly equipped Ngārongo Iwikātea Room boosts fantastic technology with a 70” touch screen television that has easy laptop connectivity through HDMI and a whiteboard.

Teal Room

The light and bright Teal Room can cater up to 50 people in a theatre setting, or a conference room setting for up to 30 people, either television screen or whiteboard facing, depending on your requirements.

Stuart Ellwood Room

The Stuart Ellwood Room is well equipped for all teaching needs with a 55” monitor and whiteboard. This is a well-fitted space for all those medium groups, with boardroom or classroom seating available for up to 20.

Blue Room

The Blue Room is well equipped for all teaching needs with a 55” monitor and whiteboard. This is a well-fitted space for all those medium groups, with boardroom or classroom seating available for up to 20.

Stuart Ellwood Room and Blue Room Combined

The Stuart Ellwood Room and Blue Room Combined is well equipped for all teaching needs with two 55” monitor and two whiteboards. This is a well-fitted space for all those large groups with boardroom or classroom seating available for up to 45.

Open Space

Our Open Space is suitable for those after-hours corporate functions, shows, concerts, weddings and public presentations. During business hours why not enquire about using it for an exhibition, expo, demonstration, or craft group get-together.
