Built in partnership

Tangata whenua, the Dutch immigrant community and Horowhenua District Council came together to build this beautiful facility – a showcase of what can be achieved in a multi-cultural partnership.

We’ve won a number of ‘excellence’ museum and architecture awards with our smart looks and impressive story-telling – and our unique combination with a community hub and library.

For kura and schools, we can host special tours aimed at the age range of your ākonga. Talk to us about what you would like or check out our Education Strategy below (education resources available in early 2022).
