Conditions of Entry

  • Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times in accordance with section 10B of the Summary Offences Act 1981.
  • All large bags and backpacks must be checked.
  • Bikes, scooters and skateboards are not allowed inside Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, they can be parked at the bike stand by De Molen windmill. Please bring your own lock. 
  • Dogs are welcome at Te Awahou Riverside Cultural Park. Dogs are not allowed in Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom except for certified assistance dogs helping people with disabilities. 
  • Te Awahou Riverside Cultural Park is a smoke-free area, this includes electronic cigarettes.
  • In case of an emergency evacuation, please follow all instructions from staff. 
  • Recorded video surveillance operates throughout the facility for security purposes.
  • You are welcome to use your camera to take photos and videos through out most of the centres, but only for personal non-commercial use. Special conditions may apply to some artworks. When you come across a ‘no photography’ sign please do not take any photographs.
